How to read a Destiny Matrix chart
Six steps, one worked example. The chart below is for someone born on June 23, 1992.
Start in the center
The yellow circle is point E, your comfort zone. In the example it is 10, Wheel of Fortune. Read it first: everything else on the chart passes through it.
Read the four main corners
Left is the day point A (5, The Hierophant), your portrait: how you come across. Top is the month B (6, The Lovers), your natural talents. Right is the year C (21, The World), the material and practical side. Bottom is D (5, The Hierophant), the karmic task.
Follow the karmic tail
From the center straight down to D runs the karmic tail. Read it from the center outwards: here 15-20-5. The number at the bottom is the root of the pattern, the one next to the center is where it meets your life today.
Find the money and love points
In the lower right, an orange line joins the inner year point and the inner tail point. The point marked $ is the money point (5, The Hierophant), the one marked with a heart is the love point (7, The Chariot), and the balance point X (19, The Sun) sits between them.
Look at the ancestral square
The upright square holds the family lines. Top-left to bottom-right (F to H) is the paternal line, top-right to bottom-left (G to I) the maternal line. Their meeting point, U, is 11, Strength in this example.
Place yourself on the age scale
The small numbers around the edge mark ages 0 to 70. Each decade has its own corner, and the points between corners cover shorter periods. Find your current age to see which arcana is most active right now.
Questions people ask
Which number in the Destiny Matrix is the most important?
Most readers start with the center, point E, because it describes the energy you live in day to day. After that come the four main corners and the karmic tail.
What do the colors on the chart mean?
The colors follow the energy centers of the body, from violet at the top of the vertical and horizontal lines down to red at the bottom corners. They group points that belong to the same level of the chart, and they are also used in the energy map of a full reading.
Why does my chart have the same number in several places?
Many points are sums of other points, so repeats are common. A number that appears three or more times is usually read as a strong theme in your life.
